Post a CommentThe Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 anti-aging moisturizer is a great multi-purpose product. I have really sensitive skin and this product looks and feels great on. I just started using it and hope to see the total effects with more usage in the next few weeks. I like that there is UVA/UVB sunscreen in it. Seriously, who wants to layer on tons of products on when you can just use one that does it all? And it's a affordable. Very nice.
seems to be a good product so far. i like the way it feels on my skin, and you only need a very small amount because a tiny dab spreads almost all over my face.
I have very sensitive skin. After the first application I was worried that it would clog my pores and cause break outs, but that was not the case. It did feel heavy at first but it also absorbed very clean. My face has not broke out no clogged pores. Loved the product.
i have been really impressed at how far Olay has come with their beauty products! i also still use and love their beauty fluid but this new line is just amazing as well!
I saw a commercial for this product shortly before receiving it in the mail. I thought-woah, I love Olay products already, and I need a moisturizer with SPF. As soon as I tried the product, I thought it was great. It makes my skin look so glow-y and I love that my skin is protected from the sun. The only thing that bothers me is the sunscreen smell, but it goes away in about a minute. Hopefully, I'll be purchasing some more when my sample runs out.
I have been putting the Olay product under my make-up base. It leaves my skin very soft and silky feeling. My finished make-up is far smoother and sleeker looking as a result. At night before bed I reapply after washing my face. My skin is noticeably smoother and softer. I don't notice any fine lines around my eyes. I highly recommend it under a foundation.
I WAS WORRIED THAT THE CREAM WOULD BE TO HEAVY & GREASY FOR MY LARGE PORED & OILY SKIN, BUT IT WASN'T.
The productis pretty good considering its price point. I love that it has SPF and its broad spectrum. I only wish it was non comedogenic because I react to products that aren't
The Olay Total Effects moisturizer has done very well so far. It is a good texture, not to greasy but provides a good amount of moisture. I would probably recommend it for a normal to dry skinned person. I didn't experience any breakouts or redness with this product. I've never used an Olay moisturizer before, I usually stick to department store brands. This product really impressed me because it didn't mess up my makeup! So many drugstore products make my foundation slide off, but I got great results with this!
SUPER creamy formula, feels kinda luxurious when you put it on. At first I was worried that it was going to make my super sensitive skin break out, so I started by using it on the backs of my hands. I am slowly beginning to use it on my face, so I will let you know in a week or so what happens...
I LOVE this stuff. At first I was a little hesitant-- seemed very thick, very sunscreen-ish, but it absorbed well and didn't leave any smears behind. I received my sample just as my husband and I moved into our new home, so life has been crazy for the last 2 weeks, which has left no time for makeup or beauty routines. This product has been the only thing I've been using, and it's been great to my skin, which normally would be wreaked with havoc from stress and Old Man Winter! I usually get breakouts from heavy products, but I haven't had any blemishes so far. Overall, I'm very happy with the results and will absolutely continue using!
This product is wonderful! I tend to have oily skin and am prone to breakouts, but in the winter I also have to deal with dry skin. I tried this stuff and not only did it keep my skin moisturized and smooth, but this is the most luxurious moisturizer I've used that didn't break me out. I let my mom try it too and she loved it so much that she got her own tube too.
For some background info, I am in my twenties, I have pale skin, and sensitive (prone to breakouts....
). I used this moisturizer in the morning (I wouldn't put an SPF on in the evening!) and I think it did a good job moisturizing. I don't know if it broke me out or not - a lot of
factors to consider - but I do know that it made my makeup go on smoother. Good product to try!
I wasn't blown away by this product. On the one hand, I love that it has SPF in it, but that isn't enough to make me choose it over other facial moisturizers (many of which also have SPF). As for the anti-aging benefits, I honestly saw noooooo change what-so-ever, after using it for a month. Maybe I have to use it longer to see any results.
It is very rich and thick, which isn't something I prefer, but if that's what you like in a moisturizer you will enjoy this product. I used this moisturizer on both the west and east coast (I went home to the east coast over the holidays). I preferred using it on the west coast because the air is more dry there, and so my skin is more dry. The moisturizer was just too thick for me on the east coast and my face always felt greasy.
All-in-all, I didn't hate it, it moisturized and protected me from the sun..... but I don't think I'd ever buy it.
Packaging is very nice. The pump applicator delievers right amount of product. The consistency of the cream was not so thick...which I like! I use this before going to bed and wake up with such soft skin. This seems to absorb well. After some weeks, I have noticed a reduction in lines near my lips and forehead.
The product promises to do alot- however, I did not notice reduction in dark circles or any type of tone enhancement. Also, spf 15? Are you kidding me! Olay, have you seen what other companies are offering? For me to purchase this, I will need at least an spf of 30.
